The Problem with Current Manual Ventilation

Recent studies clearly indicate that the medical community has been causing serious if not fatal over-inflation of the lungs when manually ventilating patients using a bag valve mask apparatus. This barotrauma causes rupture of the alveoli, increased gastric distention, and diminishes the ability for the heart to circulate blood.

The Solution to Over Ventilation

Care 2 Innovations has developed the BVM Select manual resuscitation device. The BVM Select allows the user to adjust the ventilation volume to match the size of the patient, thus eliminating problems associated with over-inflation. The BVM Select is also designed to work effectively on any size patient, from infants to large adults, which eliminates the need for multiple bag sizes.
